What are the differences between your leathers?

Leather isn’t just “one material.”

Just like paper can be thin, thick, smooth, or textured, leather also comes in different types, and each one feels and behaves differently.

Some people like a smooth and refined finish, others prefer something softer or more natural. That’s why we offer a choice. We have 3 different types of leather in our portfolio. All the details about our leather can be found on OUR LEATHER page!

Which size should I choose?

We make our leather journals to accomodate standard paper sizes. It’s extremely easy; what size notebook you have, that size journal you get. We make them slightly larger to protect the edges. For more information please refer to our SIZE CHART

How about the processing times and delivery?

We ship our products to various countries around the world.

Do you offer sewn pockets?

Short answer is “Not at the moment”.

Long answer; We are able to make it :) and did in the past. But due to the volume of recent orders, we don’t have the resources to make many of them. We are working on how we can make that happen in bigger scales.

Hopefully we will be able to do it in summer 2026!

Do the leather journals come with refills inside?

Our leather journals do not come with refills included. Planners or notebooks are sold separately, so you can choose the paper style, size, and design that suits you best.

How many refills I can attach into the journals?

We need to answer this question in 2 parts;

• Bifold ones are single spined and has 2 main ribbons to attach 2 refills. You can add 2 more refills by using the extra loop, totaling 4 refills.

• Trifold ones are double spined and has 4 main ribbons to attach 4 refills. You can add 2 more refills by using the extra loop, totalling 6 refills.

Can I come to your shop and buy your products directly there?

Our shop in Hertford is more of a studio where we make our products. We don't keep stock on hand, all our leather and paper goods are made to order :)

However, we welcome everyone interested in seeing our leather; we would be happy to show you our various types and colors (Just let us know beforehand). You can also place your order online and pick it up from the studio!

Do you have a pen loop?

We currently don’t have a pen loop, but we put our pen next to the notebooks and the outside ribbon wrapped around the journal holds the pen! It’s easier to do it with the trifold :) Just put it in and fold!
