Our journey started when we realised we couldn’t find notebooks and stationery that truly felt right, ones that inspired creativity, felt comfortable to use every day, and reflected personal taste. So we decided to make them ourselves! From carefully designed covers to hand-stitched bindings and uniquely crafted details, every product we create is made with skill, care, and intention in our Hertford studio.
Today, we offer a wide range of handmade notebooks, planners, leather journals, and paper goods designed to make your everyday writing feel special. We hope that when you choose one of our pieces, you find something that resonates with your soul and brings joy to your daily moments.

Fin Story
Where Does This “Fin” Come From?
My husband Anil, who has talent in nearly everything, is also a windsurfing teacher. During the first time we met, of course, I wanted to learn how to surf, and Anil started teaching me windsurfing with great patience. In the beginning, I learned to stay in balance and understand where the wind is coming from, and then to use one of the most important parts of the board, "fin".
"Fin" actually means the fin of the board, in windsurfing, it means the part that guides the board. It has a big part in controlling the board, giving direction to it, and being able to stay in balance...
Now even we can sail together on the waves, it has given us a good direction to start.
When establishing Fin Studio, we first wanted to be sincere. We wanted to meet people who are on their own wave like us and move forward with them. And our most common aspects came to mind, the sea, the wave, and the surf. We do not remember who first thought of Fin, who thought of it, how we decided, but somehow it was always in our minds.
Even when we were dreaming, we thought of Fin and finally, it happened, Fin became real in September 2020 after 4-5 years of dreams and 2 years of serious effort! We hope that we will accompany you in the stories you choose and will proceed together…
